A mission completed!!!
新潟、三条にあるスタジオケンでのレコーディングが一つ完成しました。
去年の8月から月に１回は三条に通って７ヶ月。
長野さん、どうもありがとうございました。
My recordings were completed today at Studio Ken in Sanjyo city, Niigata.
From last August for 7 months, I took a train to Sanjyo city once a month.
Thank you so much, Nagano san.

Happy Birthday!!!
２月１９日、ある誕生日の方の所へごあいさつと美味しい珈琲を飲みに行ってきました。
コーヒーショップ器のマスター関川さんは、私の初新潟ライブを企画して下さった方でこのきっかけがなければ私は多分音楽から縁遠い生活を送っていたかもしれません。
相変わらずいろいろな音楽を知っていて、帰り際にたくさんCDを貸してくれて、何をしに行ったんだか分かりません。
マディソン郡の橋という映画がありますが、その映画の中に流れているという曲をまず最初に教えてもらい、そうだったこれも良いあれも良いとばかりにいろいろ音楽を聴かせて頂きました。私の音楽知識は関川さんからもらった情報でほぼ！成り立っているのではないのでしょうか？Johnny Hartmanという歌手を私は知らなかったのですが、雰囲気良いですね。コルトレーンバンドの輪の中になんの問題もなく調和しているという感じです。McCoy Tynerの歌伴奏も良かったです。
新潟の寒い２月の中、しかもコーヒーを飲んで体が冷えてしまいましたが、心と魂は温か
くなりましたよ。
そしてどんどん増えていって
楽しかったです。

Feb 19th, I went out to say "Happy Birthday" to someone and to have a cup of delicious coffee.
The owner of the coffee shop, "Utsuwa"and "Pole Pole", Mr. Sekikawa has been a big support of my musical life in Niigata. If I did not meet him, I would probably have had a different life with less music.
He knows so much music, and he lend me a lots of CDs. Such a wonderful treat!!!
He told me about a movie, "The bridges of Madison Country", and the music from the CD, "John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman" that was used in the movie. I had not seen the movie, and I had not listed to Johnny Hartman. Johnny Hartman's voice was very comfortable to me, and I liked McCoy Tyner's accompaniment.
It was a very cold day in the middle of February, but I got warmed up by his cozy coffee shop and his music lesson. Thank you, Mr. Sekikawa.

First day to blog!!!
いつもブログをやったら？と言われ続けてはや？年。
今年から、今日２月１６日からやります。
皆様どうぞ宜しくお願いします。
書く事は話す事よりも準備時間をもっと持てるし、言葉を選びながら書けると思うので、まずは書く事から。ここから慣らして今度はステージでもっと上手く話せるように笑。
It has been years since I was told to start blogging.
I finally am going to start today.
Please be easy for me....
I first write, then I shall work on my speech, especially when I am on the stage. Writing can spend more time than speaking. I can erase and rewrite, but words that are coming out from my mouth are not erasable.
Today is the day after Kanto area in Japan had a massive snow. Especially Yamanashi prefecture seemed to be out of control and not accessible with food and water. It is an emergency situation.
I pray for those who are facing the difficult time, and hope that the weather gets better soon. Really frustrating that the winter olympic game was still the media's first priority to broadcast.
